Rarely does a week go by without Bryson DeChambeau making some sort of equipment change, or tweak, to his gear line-up, and he’s been tinkering again as he looks to add LIV Golf Singapore to his CV.

In fact, his latest equipment change is a fairly big one, with the two-time US Open champion opting to play with Bettinardi wedges, as reported by Matt Vincenzi, senior reporter at LIV Golf.

It’s not easy staying on top of Bryson DeChambeau’s what’s in the bag these days, and that was before he severed ties recently with LA Golf.

Equipment changes for Aramco LIV Golf Singapore

LIV Golf players are set to take on their steepest challenge yet in Sentosa Golf Club at Aramco LIV Golf Singapore. The course is extremely demanding and will ask players to be sharp in every aspect of the game. This week, there are 51 club changes and there have been 351 changes recorded year to date.

Category: Wedges (50°, 56°)
Change: PING S159 50° → Bettinardi HLX 5.0 Forged
Change: PING Glide 4.0 56° → Bettinardi HLX 5.0 Forged

Notes: Major wedge switch aimed at improving spin control. The 50° wedge is bent to 49° and the 56° wedge is bent to 54°. This is a key short-game adjustment for the Crushers GC captain on Sentosa's tricky greens and approached.

Bryson DeChambeau adjusting to 4 rounds with LIV Golf, but still plays with 3 round mentality

Bryson DeChambeau finished the first round at LIV Golf Singapore tied for the lead. The fact there are three more to go is something the two-time U.S. Open champion is still getting used to.

LIV’s biggest star was not immediately a fan of the change the 54-hole league made to its format ahead of this season after four years playing three-round tournaments. In February, DeChambeau told Today’s Golfer: “Is it what we ultimately signed up for? No. So I think we’re supposed to be different, so I’m a little indifferent to it right now.”

This week’s tournament at Sentosa G.C. in Singapore is LIV’s fourth event of the year, where DeChambeau shot a 67 to finish Day 1 at four under par alongside last week’s LIV Hong Kong winner, Jon Rahm, as well as Lee Westwood and Richard Lee.
