Below is an aggregation of Raiders-related free agent rumors, reports and speculation from select media members. These reports have not been confirmed or endorsed by the Raiders or any member of the Raiders' front office.

Raiders retain underrated edge rusher with free agent tender

Before free agency can begin, the Raiders need to take care of their own business. One of those tasks is to decide whether to tender their own free agents. They have three exclusive rights free agents (ERFA) currently and Thursday they locked up a couple of them on tenders — edge rusher Charles Snowden and center Will Putnam.

Snowden in particular has been a sneaky good find for the Raiders the past couple seasons and could, potentially, be even better in the 3-4 defense the team intends to run under new head coach Klint Kubiak.

Snowden had three sacks last season for the Raiders despite seeing less than 30% of the team's snaps. He had seven QB hits the previous season along with 39 tackles after the team lost Malcolm Koonce to injury. Last season Snowden seemed to look better when he was on the field than Koonce, but still couldn't get the playing time to match it.

John Spytek gets ahead of free agency by re-signing trio of cheap Raiders

Free agency should be more exciting next week than it was last year for the Las Vegas Raiders. John Spytek and the front office are equipped with tons of salary cap space and a need to spend cash as they attack a solid class of open market veterans to improve a league-worst roster.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the Raiders don't have too many in-house players worthy of re-signing, at any significant price, anyway, so tons of new blood should be in the building in Las Vegas. Even more will come in April's draft, so it should be another new-look roster for the Silver and Black.
