More Backstage Details On Situation Involving WWE Opponents Rhea Ripley & Jade Cargill
A backstage report has emerged following the social media spat between Rhea Ripley and WWE Women's Champion Jade Cargill on Monday.
Ripley won the Women's Elimination Chamber on Saturday night and stamped her ticket to WrestleMania 42, where she will face the reigning Women's Champion. But she also ensured that she would be going to her seventh WrestleMania in a row with a title on the line. And in responding to a post pointing that out, caught the eye of her 'Mania opponent for a little verbal jousting.

After a series of exchanges, Cargill mentioned that Ripley had spent a lot of time talking to creative. Ripley would then take to her Instagram to note that Cargill should ‘learn to work and never defame someone’s real human character by breaking the 4th wall.’

On the newest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the social media battle that developed between WrestleMania foes Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley over the weekend, with Ripley being joined yesterday (Mon., March 2) by Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.
It was their usual mix of reportage and speculation (reportulation? specultage?), but Alvarez did say, “They’re doing an angle on Twitter to make you think that they actually hate each other,” and during a long response Meltzer did put the words “it is a work” together in that order.
