DWTS star details health scare from Illinois hospital bed: ‘I'm just spinning everywhere'
Val Chmerkovskiy is sharing a health update after he was forced to miss a stop on the “Dancing With the Stars” tour.
"Dancing with the Stars" pro Val Chmerkovskiy wound up at a Peoria hospital this week while on a DWTS tour, with a social media video showing the star laying in a hospital bed with the caption "small hiccup."
"I ended up out here in Peoria," Chmerkovskiy said in the video, posted from a hospital room Sunday. A day earlier, he had been on stage with the group at the Peoria Civic Center. "I've just been having Vertigo for the past couple of days. I had it yesterday, and I was able to get through the show."
Dancing with the Stars pro ends up in Peoria hospital
PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD Radio) – Dancing with the Stars’ pro Val Chmerkovskiy was in Peoria on Sunday for a performance at the Prairie Home Alliance Theater.
He got through the show, but told fans on Facebook later that he ended up in a Peoria hospital room.
“The doc was cool – shout out to Claire our PT (physical therapist) on tour, and everyone on our tour for rallying. I’ve just been having vertigo for the past couple of days and had it yesterday,” Chmerkovskiy said.
Chmerkovskiy, a long-time favorite on ABC’s Dancing with the Stars show, is traveling with a national tour across the country.
