LAHORE – The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) has finalised a three-member squad to represent the country at the Billie Jean King Cup Juniors (U-16) Pre-Qualifying Event, scheduled to be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from March 16 to 21, 2026. Following two days of competitive trials at the PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad on February 14 and 15, Hajra Sohail, Zunaisha Noor and Romaisa Malik earned selection for the international event. Six promising players were invited to participate in the trials on the basis of their recent performances and national rankings, with the final trio impressing the selection panel through consistent and disciplined displays.

The Pakistan Tennis Federation has announced a compact three-player squad to contest the Billie Jean King Cup Juniors (U-16) Pre-Qualifying Event in Colombo from March 16–21, 2026 (ET). After trials held in the capital, Hajra Sohail, Zunaisha Noor and Romaisa Malik emerged as the federation’s choices for the international assignment.
Trials were staged over two days at the national tennis complex in Islamabad on Feb. 14–15, 2026 (ET), when six contenders were invited to vie for places in the team. The final trio was chosen on the basis of match play, consistency, on-court discipline and recent national rankings. The selectors highlighted the trio’s tactical awareness and mental resilience during pressure moments as decisive factors in their selection.
