Following the cast announcement, a woman accused Sunday of sexual assault through her social media accounts. Sunday has denied the allegations and filed a lawsuit against the woman in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, accusing her of defamation.

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — A contestant on the Ohio-based season of the Netflix dating show “Love Is Blind” is suing a Columbus woman, accusing her of defamation after she publicly alleged he sexually assaulted her.
The lawsuit was filed this week on behalf of Steven Sunday and names Elisha Watts. We do not normally name victims of sexual assault, but have chosen to do so due to the allegations made on Watts's public social media pages.
In a TikTok video posted last month, Watts said, “I don't even know how to start a video like this, but I'm just going to jump right into it. I'm the girl who posted on my story about Steven from Love is Blind Season 10 sexually assaulted me.”

Many people dream of going viral, but in the case of this Love is Blind contestant and a Columbus woman, this has ended in a lawsuit.
A Columbus woman alleged via TikTok and Instagram stories that Love is Blind contestant Steven Sunday sexually assaulted her. The video has garnered almost a million views.
Sunday is accusing the woman of defamation, suing her in the Court of Common Pleas of Franklin County.

According to this lawsuit, Sunday met the woman on Bumble, and they exchanged social media messages starting in October of 2024. In May of 2025, they were in the woman’s apartment together. In the video that the woman posted online, she says, “Steven from Love is Blind Season 10 sexually assaulted me.” The details she shared allege that Sunday recorded her without her consent. She did not file a police report at that time.
