MILAN, Italy — St. Louis Blues. Olympics. Those two things said simultaneously conjure up visions of one man… TJ Oshie.
The Minnesota kid became a United States Olympic legend in 2014 with four shootout goals to beat host Russia. Oshie got the moniker “TJ Sochi” and the moment still lives with him.
“It’s fun reliving those moments, getting those feelings and also I’m still learning how many people were watching the game in bars at like 6 a.m. Personally as someone who likes watching sports I’d love to be in the bar at 6 a.m. Especially after a big W. It’s great. It’s always fun reliving those moments, one of the proudest moments of my hockey career," Oshie said.
Remembering the Moment T.J. Oshie Became "T.J. Sochi"
The Winter Olympics are here, and the NHL is participating for the first time since 2014. The 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia, had many great moments.
