Marquette Injury Note: Sean Jones has missed the last ten games with a foot issue and has not yet returned to practice. After Saturday’s game against Butler, Shaka Smart said he is not sure if Jones will be able to get back on the court before the end of the regular season.
Villanova Stats Note: I think it’s only fair to note that Bryce Lindsay is averaging 13.0 points per game and Perkins is only out in front for the team lead right now because he had 15 points on Saturday against Georgetown and Lindsay was held scoreless while shooting 0-for-8 in 20 minutes.

VILLANAOVA, PA – The Marquette men's basketball team had that elusive first road victory slip through its fingers.
The Golden Eagles couldn’t hold on to a late six-point lead and suffered a 77-74 loss to Villanova on Feb. 10 at Finneran Pavilion.
MU (9-16, 4-10 Big East) lost for the first time at the Wildcats’ on-campus arena under head coach Shaka Smart. Last season’s loss to Villanova came at Wells Fargo Arena.
Royce Parham had a career-high 26 points for MU, and Adrien Stevens added 18.
But the Wildcats (19-5, 10-3) made five of their last seven shots to storm back.
MU went into the locker room at halftime down just 36-32 despite stats that suggested the Golden Eagles should probably be down double-digits.
