St. Cloud woman, daughter of politician Jeff Johnson, dies in homicide
The St. Cloud Police Department reports St. Cloud's Hallie Tobler, 22, was stabbed to death Saturday evening.
Police officers responded to a medical emergency at shortly after 8:15 p.m. Feb. 7 at a residence on the 3100 block of 40th Ave. S. Hallie Tobler was found dead while her husband, 23-year-old Dylan Tobler, was found with life-threatening injuries, according to an SCPD release. The couple got married in November 2021, according to Minnesota marriage records.
Dylan Tobler was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where he remained as of Sunday evening, according to the release. St. Cloud investigators allege in a release that he stabbed his wife to death, and that his wounds appear to be self-inflicted. He is in stable condition, St. Cloud police said Sunday evening.
