OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) — Four people, including two adults and two children, were found dead during a welfare check at a home on Banyan Track Way, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office said.
Deputies discovered the deaths at approximately 10:25 p.m. when they entered the home to conduct the welfare check.
Investigators say the deaths may be the result of carbon monoxide poisoning, but the official cause of death is pending confirmation from the Medical Examiner’s Office.
