Local business owner honors brother with fundraiser for The Shepherd’s House
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – A local business owner honored her brother with a fundraiser on Saturday.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Fuller Plants LLC was open for ‘Brian’s Birthday’.
Owner Jessica Fuller says her brother, Brian, passed away in 2022 from fentanyl poisoning.
Opening her business just days before his death, Fuller says the fundraiser is how she honors his memory.
“My brother passed away the same week we opened, so I just got in my head to do something good with my sadness,” Fuller said.
This year, Brian would have been 36 years old. To celebrate, Fuller says 36% of Saturday’s sales will go to The Shepherd’s House.
