Women charged with biting Border Patrol agents’ fingers following Alex Pretti shooting
Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident, was shot and killed by a Border Patrol agent after an immigration enforcement operation turned violent Saturday morning. FOX 9's Mike Manzoni has more and Pretti.
MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – Two women have been charged after allegedly biting the fingers of U.S. Border Patrol agents in the moments that followed the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti in Minneapolis.
Claire Louise Feng, 27, of St. Paul, is charged with assaulting a U.S. Border Patrol agent.
According to charges, around 9:25 a.m., Feng allegedly tackled a border patrol agent who was attempting to arrest another woman. At that point, a second agent attempted to pull Feng away, and took her to the ground – at which point she "forcibly bit the right ring finger of [the second agent]." The injury left the agent with a tip of his finger bitten off, charges allege.

MINNEAPOLIS (TNND) — A law enforcement officer's finger was bitten off by an anti-ICE protester in Minneapolis over the weekend, Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin reported on social media with gruesome photos.
"In Minneapolis, these rioters attacked our law enforcement officer and one of them bit off our HSI officer’s finger," McLaughlin wrote on X. "He will lose his finger."
Photos of two people in custody were shared, though it was unclear which person allegedly severed his finger.
Attorney General Pam Bondi said the suspect who allegedly bit the finger off of the Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent had been arrested and was in custody.
