Eagles interview coach with Philly ties who has failed at every stop for OC job
A veteran NFL coach has joined the Eagles’ offensive coordinator search.
According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the Eagles have interviewed former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy for their OC position.
Nagy spent four seasons (2008–2012) on Philadelphia’s staff under former Eagles coach Andy Reid and has since coached nine additional years under Reid with the Chiefs across two separate stints.
Nagy struggled as the Bears’ head coach from 2018-2021, but he did a good job of maximizing quarterback Mitchell Trubisky in 2018.
He-joined Reid’s staff in 2022 and has spent the last three years as Kansas City’s OC.
