2026 Top 100 Prospects
This year’s preseason Top 100 is the 37th edition of our flagship prospect ranking. Here at BA, we view the Top 100 as the culmination of our year-round efforts to show both how prospects are perceived by the industry presently and project who will produce in the future.
Construction of the Top 100 is a lengthy, detailed process involving industry feedback from MLB scouts, coaches, analysts and front office officials, as well as plenty of internal debate among BA staff. We make sure to watch players in person as often as possible and utilize as much data as we can find. The Top 100 also relies on the extensive reporting done to produce our Top 30 Prospects rankings and the Baseball America Prospect Handbook.
