Sydney Kings
Kings star to miss crucial clash
The reigning NBL Sixth Man of the Year, Kouat Noi, will miss Friday night's blockbuster between the Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36ers.
Sydney confirmed on Friday that Noi will miss the Round 15 clash through illness. The forward is averaging 11.1 points and 3.7 rebounds this season, as the Kings ride a six-game winning streak.
Noi is expected to return to the Kings' lineup on Monday, January 5 when they host South East Melbourne at Qudos Bank Arena.
Kings development player Lueth Awan will replace Noi for the clash at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

Two in-form NBL sides clash in blockbuster contest
IT IS the match that all NBL fans have been waiting for over the past couple of weeks, with Adelaide 36ers taking on Sydney Kings in the City of Churches tonight. The 36ers have won 10 of their past 11 games in dominant fashion
Last time these two sides met was only last month when the Kings snapped the 36ers’ seven-game losing streak with a 97-93 victory at AIS Arena in Canberra. On that day, the contested went to overtime as the Kings forced their way back from a 13-point half-time deficit thanks to a 23-9 third term and eventually won 12-8 in overtime. It marked their second victory over the 36ers this season, and promises to be a beauty.
