Ignite Cup standings: 36ers push for spot in Final

The Adelaide 36ers well and truly kept their NBL Ignite Cup Final hopes alive on Wednesday, defeating the Cairns Taipans 93-73 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.

As well as claiming victory, sparked by Bryce Cotton's 22 points and 11 assists, in the fixture, Mike Wells' side won all four quarters, to secure themselves a maximum of seven points from the clash.

By doing this, the 36ers now sit in second spot on the Ignite Cup ladder (with 15 points), only behind leaders New Zealand, who are on 18.

The 36ers' fourth and final Ignite Cup game of the inaugural in-season tournament is on Wednesday, January 28 against the Brisbane Bullets at the Gold Coast Sport and Leisure Centre.
