Actor Morgan Freeman is coming to Arizona for a music festival

Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman comes to town on Thursday, Jan. 8, for a sold-out show at Highlands Church in Scottsdale as part of Arizona Musicfest.
Morgan Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience is an immersive multimedia production with extensive narration by Freeman, live performances by celebrated Delta Blues musicians from Freeman’s own Ground Zero Blues Club in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and orchestration by the Musicfest Pops Ensemble.
“My only connection with Scottsdale is landing my plane there to refuel on my way to California,” Freeman told the Courier Journal.
