WSU aims to compete with $4.5M assistant coaches salary pool under newly hired Moore
PULLMAN, WA — New Washington State head football coach Kirby Moore is set to have an assistant coach salary pool of around $4.5 million, according to Washington State beat writer Greg Woods.
According to interim Athletic Director Jon Haarlow, former head coach Jimmy Rogers was ‘in the ballpark’ with a similar amount for the assistant coach salary pool.
Haarlow says he wants Moore to have a competitive advantage, as he is already ‘fluent in NIL, the portal, and the new landscape of college football.’
