Hornets Receive Massive LaMelo Ball Injury Update

The Charlotte Hornets have had to deal with injuries to LaMelo Ball for the majority of his career. Ball has been one of the more injury-prone players in the NBA, but his skill and talent level can not be denied. His ankles have been the main problem, and it is no different with his latest absence.

Ball has been out since getting hurt in the December 5th game against the Toronto Raptors. The good news is the Hornets will be getting their star guard back as early as Thursday night. Per Rod Boone of the Charlotte Observer, Ball has been upgraded to probable before the Hornets’ tilt with the Atlanta Hawks.

Ball will be good to go for Saturday night's game, despite battling an ankle issue earlier on in the week. He projects to be a high-end fantasy option in this matchup against the Pistons, even if Tre Mann (knee) and Pat Connaughton (calf) are both back in the lineup for the Hornets.

Charlotte Hornets Announce The Playing Status For LaMelo Ball In Tonight's Matchup vs Atlanta

As the Hawks and the Hornets prepare to face each other tonight, both teams have questionable tags on their star point guards. The Hornets have just announced the playing status for LaMelo Ball in tonight's game vs Atlanta. Ball is going to play tonight for the Hornets, and Trae Young is going to be available tonight for Atlanta.

This is going to be the second matchup of the year between these two teams. The Hawks were able to win a close game at home last month, but the Hornets were without several of their key players. Now that they are a little healthier, Atlanta can't afford to overlook the Hornets tonight.
