“To make you feel the power of music, to allow music, to watch people fall in love through music, is a really difficult thing to pull off,” Hudson says.Jackman doubles down on Hudson’s words, adding, “The script was so moving!”
The mom of three also felt so inspired by her role in the film, “You know, there’s movies that inspire you to wanna be an actress and when you’re younger and you see them, and you’re like, ‘I wanna do that. I wish I could do that.’ That’s why []. When I saw it, I was like ‘Wait, I just did one,' and I really felt that way. [] I did the kind of movie that would’ve inspired me when I was younger.”
