Penny Hardaway updates Memphis injury situation ahead of Louisville game

Memphis basketball has not had its entire roster available for any game this season.

That will once again be the case when the Tigers (4-4) face No. 11 Louisville (8-1) at the KFC Yum! Center on Dec. 13 (2:30 p.m., ESPN).

While both have seen improvement on the injury recovery front, coach Penny Hardaway said Dec. 11 he does not expect sophomore guards Julius Thedford and Curtis Givens III will be available against the Cardinals.

"I don’t think we’ll have Julius. I don’t think we’ll have Curtis, either," Hardaway said. "That’s just my guesstimation right now from watching both of them."
