Sony Revealing 2 Teasers for "SOS" and "God of War" at The Game Awards
The countdown to the Game Awards has taken a big turn now that Sony is in the spotlight with two big news stories that have fans buzzing with theories. One thing is for sure: the new PlayStation 5 exclusive "SOS" will be shown off at the ceremony tomorrow. The other is shrouded in mystery: a God of War tease circulating online has fans ready for an announcement. Both stories are coming together at the same time, and excitement for the show is at an all-time high.
Sony's decision to show "SOS" and confirmation that it will be at the event show that the company is sure it can add more exclusive games to the PS5. The title comes from Housemarque, the studio that made Returnal, a game that got a lot of praise for its nonstop bullet-hell action and sci-fi story. "SOS" looks like it will follow in its footsteps as it goes to a whole new world. The game is a roguelite third-person shooter that follows Housemarque's style of dodging complex waves of projectiles, absorbing enemy attacks, and leveling up through a loop-based structure that focuses on skillful progression.
