Padres Sign Ty Adcock To Major League Deal
The Padres announced that they have signed right-hander Ty Adcock to a one-year deal for the 2026 season. The Friars have multiple 40-man vacancies and don’t need to make a corresponding move.
Looks like a low risk, medium reward situation. I doubt the Padres will give someone who has only thrown 23 MLB innings more than 1 million or little more than 1 million.

Mets Lose Free Agent Pitcher to Padres
The San Diego Padres bolstered their bullpen Thursday by signing right-hander Ty Adcock to a major league contract for the 2026 season.
Adcock, 28, had spent the last two seasons with the New York Mets. In 18 major league games with the Mets (2024-25) and Seattle Mariners (2023), he's 0-0 with a 5.48 ERA.
A former eighth-round pick by the Mariners in the 2018 MLB Draft, Adcock has a 1.04 WHIP, .227 opponents' batting average, and 19 strikeouts in 23 innings at the major league level.
Although his role is to be determined, Adcock figures to help the Padres, who are expected to lose closer Robert Suarez in free agency this winter.
