Trump’s granddaughter places last in controversial pro golf debut
President Donald Trump’s granddaughter had a rocky start to her LPGA career, ending in last place during her first tournament after only scoring +18 through her first two rounds.
While Kai Trump, daughter of Donald Trump Jr. and Vanessa Trump, placed low, she actually showed improvement.
Despite admitting that nerves had gotten to her, Kai cut eight strokes off her score in the second round.
“The first day, I was definitely really nervous,” Kai told Golf Channel. “I think the nerves just got to me. When I went out there today, I felt very calm and peaceful to be honest with you. And, yeah, that’s why I played better.”
