Want to watch First Take from Bethune-Cookman? Time, TV channel for ESPN show
“First Take,” the sports media company’s premier daily debate show, will air live from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 20, inside Moore Gymnasium. As always, Stephen A. Smith remains the program’s mainstay. He’ll be joined by former NFL MVP quarterback Cam Newton, former Super Bowl champion defensive back Ryan Clark and others.
The appearance was announced in August. It is the final destination on “First Take’s” four-stop HBCU tour.
The show trekked to Norfolk State in August as well as Legion Field in Birmingham for the Alabama A&M and Alabama State rivalry football game and Delaware State in October.
No. 9 Maryland women’s basketball vs. Bethune-Cookman preview
The Terps will continue to test depth and lineup combinations against a small-conference opponent.
Fresh off passing its toughest test so far this season with a win over Princeton, No. 9 Maryland women’s basketball will welcome Bethune-Cookman to College Park on Thursday night.
The Terps will be heavily favored to move to 6-0 against an opponent who hasn’t beat a Division I team yet this season.
The game will tip off at 6 p.m. and be available to stream on Big Ten Plus.
Head coach Janell Crayton Del Rosario, now in year five with the Wildcats, has seen a lot more losing than winning during her tenure. Bethune-Cookman has been a below-average team for the SWAC, one of Division I’s weaker conferences.
