The Houston Texans won't have kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn for a second straight week after he was ruled out for the Week 11 game against the Tennessee Titans.
Fairbairn is dealing with a right quadriceps injury he suffered in the Week 9 loss to the Denver Broncos. Fairbairn has not practiced since then and was officially ruled out on Friday.
In his stead, the Texans will deploy veteran kicker Matthew Wright, who also had the job last week. Wright made his lone field goal and extra point attempts in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Wright will start Sunday's game against the Titans with Ka'imi Fairbairn (quadriceps) having been ruled out on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Houston signed Wright to the active roster after Fairbairn suffered his quad injury Week 9, signaling that the team anticipated needing a multi-game fill-in. In his team debut versus the Jaguars in Week 10, Wright converted his only field-goal attempt and his lone extra-point try. He'll work to remain accurate on the road against Tennessee.
Stroud, who has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup versus Tennessee due to a concussion, may not be ready to return in Thursday's Week 12 game against Buffalo, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
