Suns Rule Out 2 Starters vs Pacers
PHOENIX — On the second night of a back-to-back, the Phoenix Suns will be down two key players against the Indiana Pacers at home Thursday.
The Suns ruled out starting center Mark Williams (right knee return from injury management) and will continue to be without Jalen Green (right hamstring strain), who is scheduled to be re-evaluated in four-to-six weeks.
This will be the second time this season where Williams is out for the second game of a back-to-back as the Suns are following a plan to try to keep him healthy.
Phoenix has been on fire going into tonight's matchup, winning four games in a row and six of their last seven even while dealing with Green's injury.
Game Preview: The Valley threads return as Phoenix looks to keep rolling
It’s the return of The Valley City Edition uniforms, that bold white font set against a pixelated sunset glow that once lit up the league. Thursday night, under the lights at home against the Indiana Pacers, it’s back. One of the most popular City Edition uniforms in the NBA, a modern relic from the season when belief and energy collided, when the Suns caught the world off guard and crashed the Finals party.
When you think of The Valley, you think of that 2020-21 team. Young, confident, overachieving, and hungry in a way you could feel through the screen. They weren’t supposed to be there, but they were. And those jerseys? They became the armor for a movement.

Suns C Mark Williams out vs. Pacers due to injury management
Phoenix Suns center Mark Williams will not play on the second night of a back-to-back Thursday against the Indiana Pacers at Mortgage Matchup Center.
The Suns designated Williams as out due to “right knee return from injury management,” erring on the side of caution with the oft-injured big man.
This is the second back-to-back for the Suns this season, and Williams did not play the second leg of their first on Oct. 25. He has played in Phoenix’s other 10 games.
Williams played 26 minutes in Wednesday’s 123-114 win over the Dallas Mavericks and scored 10 points with four rebounds, two steals and two blocks.
