Fortnite servers down – How long is maintenance scheduled for update 38.10
The latest Fortnite season hasn't been around for long, but that hasn't stopped Epic Games from announcing a big new update for the special Simpsons season.
According to Epic Games, Fortnite update 38.10 is coming to PS5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2 and Android on November 11. It adds new gameplay features and crossover skins from Springfield and beyond.
Unfortunately, however, the good news ends there, because the new content won't be available until server maintenance comes to an end.
According to a recent Epic Games post on X, Fortnite servers will be taken offline on the morning of November 11.
Finally, Fortnite's Simpsons season is getting Spider-Pig (and a bunch more)
It's been over a week since The Simpsons brought Springfield to Fortnite and, so far, it's been everything fans hoped it would be. Thankfully, though, Epic Games isn't done yet. A new The Simpsons animated short teases what's coming next in Fortnite — and it's all pretty incredible.
The short, "Sugar High," can be watched right now on Disney Plus or via Fortnite's social media accounts, meaning you can check it out above. In it, Homer meets with Professor Frink, who wanted the souped-up remote controller Homer has — which has been seen in Fortnite's key art. In the most Homer move ever, he wisely decided to jam a shard from the Zero Point — an orb made of pure energy that was first introduced into Fortnite lore back in Chapter 1 Season 4 — into the battery compartment with little regard for what comes next.
