FORECAST: Snow showers into the afternoon
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Snow showers fade away by sunset this evening, leaving lows in the 20s and wind chills in the 10s.
We’ll keep the Alert Day in place through early Tuesday morning as some slick spots are possible overnight and into the Tuesday morning commute.
After the morning slick spot risk, we’ll see temperatures warm well past freezing Tuesday afternoon with highs in the 40s. Partly sunny skies and wind gusts up to 35 MPH are likely on Tuesday.
Partly cloudy skies are with us Tuesday night as lows drop into the 30s. Temperatures may start to rise just before sunrise Wednesday morning as warmer air moves in from the southwest.
Several Kentucky and Indiana counties under Winter Weather Advisory
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several central Kentucky and southern Indiana counties are under a Winter Weather Advisory on Monday, Nov. 10.
Rounds of snow showers are expected in some areas. Snow accumulations of a half to one inch will be possible, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS Louisville predicts slippery road conditions as snow showers move through. The hazardous road conditions could impact the Monday evening commute. Officials recommend slowing down and using caution while driving.
The Winter Weather Advisory begins at 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. EST.
