TXT’s Yeonjun Isn’t Concerned With Meeting Your Expectations on His Debut EP, ‘No Labels’
The 26-year-old K-pop star has released his first solo EP, which he was heavily involved in the creation of: “It was a journey of self-expression.”
The 26-year-old K-pop star, a member of boy group Tomorrow x Together, also known as TXT, is at a place in his career where his love for music is the guiding light. “Rather than trying to meet everyone’s expectations, I just try to focus on making music that I truly love and believe in,” he tells The Hollywood Reporter on a late-night Zoom from Seoul.
It’s different to see the personable singer on his own. In 2019, Yeonjun debuted as the oldest member of BigHit Music’s newest boy group. Over the last six years, the members of TXT have grown from bubbly, bright teens to men in their early and mid-twenties. The group’s sound has matured alongside them, however, there’s still plenty of genres to explore. For Yeonjun, that exploration has led him to his debut EP, No Labels: Part One.

'Tomorrow X Together' member Yeonjun teased his new choreography ahead of his solo debut.
On November 4, Yeonjun uploaded a short 9-second clip on social media, revealing part of the dance for his upcoming title track Talk to You from his first solo album NO LABELS: Part 1. The video shows him in the practice room, performing a glimpse of the dynamic routine surrounded by energetic dancers.
He personally took part in planning the choreography, shaping the flow and structure. Following his involvement in writing and composing, Yeonjun also contributed to creating the moves — completing what fans call "Yeonjun Core."
NO LABELS: Part 1 captures Yeonjun's authentic self, stripping away the labels of "Tomorrow X Together member" to showcase him purely as a solo artist.
