Predicting the All-SEC women’s basketball team ahead of 2025-26 season

LSU women's basketball begins year five under Kim Mulkey on Tuesday night as the Tigers host Houston Christian in the PMAC.

In her four years, Mulkey has revitalized the LSU program with an influx of talent. It was enough to win a national title in 2023, and the Tigers have followed it up with back-to-back Elite 8 runs in 2024 and 2025.

The SEC has taken a massive step forward in women's basketball over the last decade. More resources have been spent on recruiting at the high school level and in the transfer portal. It's resulted in the SEC having a handful of the nation's best players year in and year out.
