12 min: Better from Chelsea as Joao Pedro sends away George, though Santosâs shot is not good enough to match the standard of approach play.
10 min: Qarabag pressure, and another block. Both George and Gittens have chance to attack the opposing defence but both waste the chance. The ball not quite sticking up front for Chelsea.
8 min: Chelsea corner, and Caicedo is first to the second ball, smashing over. Such a good player to bring on.
7 min: Caicedo will be coming on rather ahead of schedule. Meanwhile, Kady, one of the Qarabag Brazilians, swings and has his shot deflected. Qarabag have plenty of muscle in this team.
Qarabag vs. Chelsea: Preview, Predictions and Lineups
Chelsea make the lengthy trip to Azerbaijan on Wednesday for their Champions League clash with Qarabağ.
The Blues have won six of their last seven matches in all competitions and bar their slip-up at home to Sunderland, they have been in impressive form. Victories over Benfica and Ajax have come during their recent winning streak, results which have elevated them up the Champions League league phase table after their opening day defeat at Bayern Munich.
Azerbaijan is not a regular venue for Chelsea’s European excursions, but the Blues have faced Qarabağ previously. They fired ten unanswered goals past them during the 2017–18 Champions League group stage, with another thumping victory on the cards on Wednesday.

Chelsea travelling squad for Qarabag confirmed | News | Official Site
A 23-man Chelsea squad has touched down in Baku, Azerbaijan, ahead of our Champions League clash with Qarabag.
Our final training session ahead of the league phase fixture – and both pre-match press conferences – took place at Cobham earlier today. The Blues' squad then began the long journey to Baku, which involved a five-and-a-half-hour flight.
Enzo Maresca confirmed Portuguese winger Pedro Neto would not be included in the travelling party due to a 'small issue'. Benoit Badiashile, Levi Colwill, Dario Essugo and Cole Palmer also remain at home to continue recovery work from their respective injuries.
The Blues have recorded back-to-back victories in the Champions League, defeating Benfica and Ajax at Stamford Bridge. A third win, and first on the road in this season's competition, would put us in a strong position in the league phase table.
