Some won't get Social Security check in November. See the schedule
As the government shutdown continues, Social Security recipients may be concerned about their benefits.
Rest assured, Social Security and Supplemental Social Security checks will continue as usual since they are not reliant on congressional approval.
Most of the nearly 74 million who get Social Security benefits receive them on Wednesdays throughout the month. For instance, if your birthdate falls between the first and 10th of the month, you are paid on the second Wednesday of the month, which is Nov. 12; between the 11th and 20th, you’re paid on the third Wednesday (Nov. 19), and if you were born after the 20th of the month, you get paid on the fourth Wednesday of the month (Nov. 26), according to the Social Security Administration’s calendar.

Those who get Supplemental Security Income checks won't get a check during the calendar month of November – instead, they will get one a few days early, in October.
November SSI payments are scheduled to go out on Friday, Oct. 31, according to the Social Security Administration’s calendar. SSI payments are typically issued on the first day of the month, but when the first of the month lands on a weekend or a holiday, as it does in November (Nov. 1 is a Saturday), payments go out early.
A similar situation happened in August, with SSI recipients getting payments on Aug. 1 and Aug. 29 – and the case will arise again in January, with that month's check being issued Dec. 31, according to the SSA calendar.

Some Social Security Recipients Won’t Get Checks In November: Here’s Why
More than 7.4 million Americans who receive Supplemental Security Income will not get a November check because the usual payday falls on a weekend.
SSI recipients usually receive their benefits at the beginning of the month. Because Nov. 1 falls on a Saturday, the November payment will be deposited a day early, on Friday, Oct. 31, according to the Social Security Administration’s calendar and USA Today.
Blavity reported that a similar occurrence happened in August, when SSI recipients received two checks: one on the 1st and the other on the 29th, because September’s check fell on Labor Day, which was a Monday. Beneficiaries will also receive two checks for December, since January’s funds will be issued on Dec. 31, according to the SSA calendar.
