Jaguars' WR Brian Thomas Jr. appears on latest injury report
Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr. popped up on the first Week 9 injury report.
Thomas Jr. was officially listed as limited with a shoulder injury. He reportedly wore a non-contact pinnie during practice.
Thomas Jr. has been on the injury report previously this season, but that was due to a wrist injury.
It's been an up-and-down season up to this point for Thomas Jr., to say the least. He's been targeted heavily, with 55 passes thrown his way, but he's hauled in just 27 of those throws.
At times, he and Trevor Lawrence haven't been on the same page, while dropped passes have been a factor as well.

Thomas was able to get in limited practices all week. His value could take a step forward with Travis Hunter placed on IR.

Brian Thomas Jr. goes off vs. Raiders and other insane Jaguar predictions
When the Jacksonville Jaguars listed Travis Hunter on the injury report Thursday, the expectation was that he would be good to go against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 9. Unfortunately, head coach Liam Coen announced one day later that the Jags are placing the reigning Heisman Trophy winner on the Injured Reserve, meaning that he'll miss at least a month of football.
The good news is that Hunter's ACL appears to be intact, but even if he returns in the midst of a playoff run later in the season, Jacksonville needs better play from the wide receiver position. The issue is that aside from No. 12, the team will also be without Tim Patrick when they face the Raiders.
