✈️ When Jamaica Cried for Help — Steven Tyler Answered With Helicopters 🚁🇯🇲
Now that’s rock ’n’ roll with heart, mun. 🤘 When the island of Jamaica faced a desperate cry for help after a series of devastating storms and supply shortages, who swooped in like a scarf-wearing superhero? None other than Aerosmith’s own Steven Tyler — and he didn’t just send thoughts and prayers… he sent helicopters.
Yeah, you read that right. The “Dream On” legend didn’t just dream — he acted.
Reports from the scene painted a sight straight out of an action movie: relief choppers buzzing across the Jamaican skyline, carrying food, medicine, and essential supplies — with Tyler himself helping coordinate the chaos on the ground. The dude looked like he’d just walked off a music video set, all shades, scarves, and swagger, but this time he wasn’t saving rock — he was saving lives.
Steve Martin shares text exchange of how he came to be on Yungblud and Aerosmith's new version of 'My Only Angel'
Steve Martin has shared the text exchange that saw him get involved in Yungblud and Aerosmith‘s new version of ‘My Only Angel’.
Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry joined forces with Yungblud on stage at the 2025 MTV VMAs to pay tribute to Ozzy Osbourne, and later went on to confirm that they had collaborated on an EP called ‘One More Time’.
Set for release on November 21, the first preview of the EP – a powerful track titled ‘My Only Angel’ – arrived last month and marked Aerosmith’s first original release in over 12 years.
Last week, Yungblud and Aerosmith went on to share a ‘Desert Road Version’ of the lead single, which sees them put a more stripped-back, emotional spin on it, and bring in acclaimed actor Steve Martin for a guest appearance.

Aerosmith and Yungblud have released a new edition of last month's My Only Angel single. The new "Desert Road Version" features banjo parts from renowned player and actor/comedian Steve Martin, who recorded his part remotely after Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler reached out.
My Only Angel – Aerosmith's first new music since 2012's Music from Another Dimension! album – was initially released in September. The collaboration was born when Yungblud and Aerosmith reworked a version of the former's nine-minute song Hello Heaven, Hello together, which led to a writing session, and the resultant One More Time EP will be released on November 21.
