Rams trade for Titans CB Roger McCreary ahead of Nov. 4 deadline
The Los Angeles Rams bolstered their secondary ahead of the trade deadline.
L.A. is acquiring cornerback Roger McCreary in a trade with the Tennessee Titans, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Monday, per sources informed of the swap.
The Titans will receive a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick from the Rams in exchange for McCreary and a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick, per Rapoport.
A second-round pick in 2022, McCreary has three career interceptions, including one in Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, 17 career passes defended, one forced fumble, four sacks and 253 tackles. Making his third start of the season in Week 8 against the Indianapolis Colts, the slot corner picked up his first sack of the season on a blitz.

The Titans will receive a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick. The Rams will receive a conditional 2026 sixth-round pick along with McCreary. The Titans will likely receive the Rams' fifth-round pick closer to the beginning of the round while Los Angeles is likely to receive Tennessee's pick in the sixth-round pick closest to the end of the round, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
McCreary, a second-round pick in 2022, is in the final season of his rookie contract. He has played primarily in the slot for the Titans this season but has experience playing outside, as well.

The Tennessee Titans are trading away another cornerback, sending slot corner Roger McCreary to the Los Angeles Rams for a conditional pick swap, according to ESPN. The Titans get the fifth-round pick that ends up being closer to the beginning of that round, while the Rams receive the sixth-round pick that is closest to the end of the round. Tennessee currently has three sixth-round picks.
McCreary has recorded 33 tackles, one sack, two passes defended and one interception in eight games played this season. A former second-round pick for Tennessee in 2022 out of Auburn, McCreary was viewed as a potential trade target as he is in the final year of his rookie deal and seeking a long-term extension.
