The condition is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain. Brain aneurysms are common and most of them are not serious, especially if they are small.
However, aneurysms need to be kept under control through regular check-ups because there is a risk of rupturing – and if this happens, they could cause bleeding in the brain, known as a hemorrhagic stroke. During the episode, Kim, 45, told her older sister Kourtney Kardashian, 46, that doctors had found an aneurysm in her brain.

Kim Kardashian has opened up about her battle with terrifying brain condition.
The mum-of-four's health update came in the opening episode of season seven of The Kardashians today (23 October).
"They found a little aneurysm," she said, following a routine MRI brain scan which cameras followed her along for.
The news clearly got to Kim, as she later appeared upset on the phone, asking: "Why the f**k is this happening?" She added to her sister Khloe and mum Kris Jenner that following the diagnosis she had the 'hardest week' of her life.
About to appear in Ryan Murphy's new legal drama series, All's Fair, the novice actor noted that docs assessed the cause of her condition as 'excessive stress'. And this led to direct references to her divorce from Kanye West.
