Celebrity Traitors star Charlotte Church has exposed Alison Hammond’s true colours after a controversial This Morning segment which saw her hysterically giggling through Charlotte’s sound bath experience. The singer, 39, headed to the ITV daytime studio in November 2024 to demonstrate her new self-care technique with Alison and her co-host Dermot O’Leary.
Charlotte owns a wellbeing centre, The Dreaming, in Wales, which offers spiritual retreats and sound baths. But both presenters couldn’t stop laughing through what was supposed to be a relaxing experience – and Charlotte confessed it “p***ed her right off”. Charlotte Church has admitted her viral This Morning soundbath moment with Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary actually ‘p***ed [her] right off’ and touched a ‘wound’.
In November last year The Traitors star, 39, appeared on the ITV show to do a live soundbath which left the 50-year-old presenter in fits of giggles, in a video that quickly went viral.
However, while all seemed fine on the day Charlotte sang out soothing notes over the top of a relaxing instrumental soundscape and the ITV presenters reclined on the floor, a year on and the classical singer has admitted Alison’s mischievous response actually touched a ‘deep wound’ of hers.
