Turning Point USA, the organization founded by the late right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, announced on social media that it will be hosting its own Super Bowl halftime show on Feb. 8, 2026, to counter the NFL’s choice of Bad Bunny.
On the flyer shared on social media, Turning Point USA is calling the initiative “The All-American Halftime Show,” celebrating “faith, family and freedom.” The flyer says that more information and musical artists will be announced at a later time. Following Kirk’s death last month, his wife, Erika Kirk, was named CEO of Turning Point USA.

Charlie Kirkâs Turning Point USA has announced that itâs planning its own Super Bowl halftime show, in protest of the NFLâs decision to have Latin music superstar Bad Bunny headline the main event. The so-called All-American Halftime Show will take place on February 8, 2026, the same date as Super Bowl LX.
Conservatives were up in arms after it was announced that Bad Bunnyâone of the biggest artists in the world, with more than 80 million Spotify listeners each month, as well as an American citizen from Puerto Ricoâwould be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show. Speaking to right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson, Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem threatened that ICE would be âall over that placeâ at the Super Bowl, which will be held at Leviâs Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Noem maintained that she has every intention to âenforce the law.â House Speaker Mike Johnson called booking Bad Bunny âa terrible decisionâ and offered an alternative: 82-year-old country singer Lee Greenwood, who Johnson said would attract a âbroader audience.â (For the record: the âGod Bless the USAâ singer has less than 450,000 monthly Spotify listeners, roughly 190 times less than Bad Bunny). Even President Donald Trump called Bad Bunny an âabsolutely ridiculousâ choice to headline the Super Bowl, despite claiming he had ânever heard of him.â
