Cardi B Delayed Video for BIA Diss Track to Avoid ‘Bullying’ Rapper on Her Album Release Day
Cardi B might be pretty and petty — but she wants to be clear that she is not a bully. During an Instagram Live video Thursday night, the Am I The Drama? rapper revealed she passed on releasing a video for “Pretty & Petty,” her BIA diss track, on the day of her foe’s album release day.
“This is how I work: I know how stressful it is to put an album out. And I know how fucked up you be in the mind when you put an album out. I feel like if I do a video to ‘Pretty and Petty’ this week, or today… I feel like I would be bullying,” Cardi explained on her Live. “And I don’t want to feel like a bully.”
Bia’s ‘Bianca’: The Best Songs, Ranked
BIA is officially stepping into her Bianca era. Her highly anticipated debut studio album dropped on October 10 via Epic Records. The Boston-born rapper has spent years carving her space in hip-hop with a blend of confidence, style, and versatility — and this release cements her as one of the most dynamic voices of her generation.
Across its tracklist, Bianca brings together a striking mix of sounds and collaborators. From the smooth R&B hooks of Ty Dolla $ign to the gritty energy of Key Glock and Denzel Curry, and the Latin flair of Becky G and Young Miko, the album reflects BIA’s global vision. She blurs boundaries between hip-hop, reggaeton, and dance, creating a sound that places Bianca among the best rap releases of 2025 so far.

BIA brushes off Cardi B diss track, saying 'I don't wake up and think about it at all'
Just weeks after getting name-dropped in a diss record from Cardi B, the Massachusetts-based rapper released her debut studio album, "BIANCA" (out now, Epic Records). But the "Whole Lotta Money" emcee says she's focused on promoting her album and not sweating the tiff with the New York City rapper, which started well over a year ago.
" I respond in my own way. But I'm very much like, that was a year ago for me," BIA tells USA TODAY. "So this album had nothing really to (do with) it."
Cardi B released the track "Pretty & Petty" in September on her album "Am I The Drama?" in which the "Up" rapper took swipes at her birthplace, flow and appearance. (The release of that track also came days before Cardi B's controversial back and forth with Nicki Minaj, who notably joined BIA on the remix to "Whole Lotta Money" and can be heard on her new album's outro.)
