Bahrain, Riyadh, Abu Dhabi, And Bahrain See British Airways Dramatically Increase Flights With New Routes And More Frequencies To Meet Growing Travel Demand
British Airways is significantly expanding its services to key Middle Eastern destinations, including Bahrain, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi, to meet the growing demand for both business and leisure travel. Starting from the end of October, the airline will introduce daily flights to Bahrain, increase its weekly frequency to Riyadh, and offer daily services to Abu Dhabi. This move aims to strengthen the airline’s connectivity in the region, providing more options for travelers and reinforcing its commitment to serving high-demand markets. Additionally, with new routes and increased frequencies, British Airways is positioning itself as a key player in the expanding Middle Eastern travel market.
BA expands four Middle East routes
British Airways is increasing services between Heathrow and the Middle East, including the resumption of daily flights to Abu Dhabi (pictured) next month.
BA brought back its Heathrow-Abu Dhabi flights in April 2024 but suspended them between 30 March and 25 October this year because of a delay in delivery of engine parts.
The airline is also increasing flights between Heathrow and Bahrain to daily from 27 October 2025, more than doubling the number of flights on the route each week.
Services to Saudi Arabia are expanding on two routes. BA will operate 12 flights from Riyadh to Heathrow per week this winter and 14 per week from summer 2026.
