Rainy pattern to linger through midweek before weekend sunshine returns in Metro Detroit
4Warn Weather – Metro Detroit begins the week and the start of fall on a soggy note, as showers and thunderstorms return to the area.
While a couple of rain showers will be possible during the evening, skies will become partly cloudy at night.
Patchy fog will also develop in some spots overnight. Lows will fall to the lower-60s.
Tuesday will bring unsettled skies with periods of rain and humid air, as temperatures climb into the mid- to upper-70s.

A storm system moves in from the southwest Wednesday and will bring us more rain chances Wednesday through Friday morning. Thunderstorms are possible Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s the rest of the week.
Tonight: Partly to mostly cloudy and a chance of a little fog toward morning. Low will drop to the upper 50s and low 60s. Detroit's low will drop to 63°. Winds: SW 5 mph.

Southeast Michigan is about to get soaked again, timeline for the next round of rain
DETROIT – Don’t put away those umbrellas just yet if you live in Southeast Michigan. The rain that kicked in over the weekend is going to stick around, at least into the first part of this week.
Monday and Tuesday could also have some thunderstorms. It won’t feel too cold, though. Daytime highs will still be in the 70s.
