Progress on the construction of an apartment complex in downtown Green Bay will close neighboring North Washington Street from Cherry to Pine streets for several days starting Sept. 22, according to a news release from the city's Department of Public Works.
The roughly 360-foot section of North Washington Street is far from being the most used road in the city, however, it provides several on-street parking spots that will become temporarily unavailable, and is home to a handful of businesses.
Nova Green Bay, the luxury apartment building in question, will hook its private utilities to existing city utilities, which continues the work to get the development toward an anticipated completion by early fall 2026, the Green Bay Press-Gazette previously reported.
