“Just a lot of emotions,” Chase 29, said through tears onboard a plane with his father Todd Chrisley and girlfriend Jodi Laine Fournerat during the Sept. 16 episode of The Chrisley’s: Back to Reality. “I just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried. I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it.”

Chase Chrisley is getting the help he needs by checking himself into a rehab facility for his alcoholism.
The 29-year-old reality star was arrested in January 2025 after allegedly bring involved in a bar fight. He admitted he was "scared" about entering treatment but realized he needed to find a better way to cope with the trauma he had "buried" inside.
"The Chrisley's: Back to Reality" season finale aired on Tuesday and showed Chase and his dad, Todd Chrisley, on board a plane heading for the facility.
Chase said, "There's a lot of emotions. I just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried. I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it. I just gotta find myself." Todd praised his son for making the decision to seek help and noted the day marked "new beginnings".

In an emotional scene shown in the series finale of Lifetime's "The Chrisleys: Back to Reality," which released Sept. 16, Todd and Julie Chrisley's second eldest son has a heart-to-heart with his father as they are on a flight traveling to a rehabilitation facility.
"I just need to go and handle a lot of trauma that I have buried. I just thought that I could bury it, bury it, bury it," he tells Todd Chrisley, per People and E! News.
He goes on to admit he's "scared" about starting addiction treatment and says, "I just gotta find myself," according to the outlets.
