Aaron Murray names Georgia football's biggest problem

Former Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray, who is UGA's all-time leading passer, named the biggest problem for Georgia ahead of its SEC opener against the Tennessee Volunteers. Murray thinks Georgia's offense could struggle in the difficult road environment at Tennessee.

"I still think if if we had to rank an order of issues for Georgia, it's been the offensive line," said Murray on the "Mac & Murray CFB Show."

"Sorry to to hate on the big boys up front, but the offensive line's got to get it done," Murray continued. "They have to protect. There were a few times last week that (offensive coordinator Mike) Bobo called the play to take a shot down the field and there was leakage up front where he (Gunner Stockton) didn't have time to get through his reads and had to get out of there.

Why former Georgia QB Aaron Murray thinks Tennessee football can beat Georgia

Aaron Murray wanted to put on his Georgia hat, say the Bulldogs are going to walk into Neyland Stadium and win against Tennessee football.

The former Georgia quarterback and current ESPN commentator couldn’t do so confidently.

“As an ESPN (employee), put my Georgia hat away and just call the game for what it is, I think Tennessee is in a better position right now to go out there and have success,” Murray said that Knoxville Quarterback Club on Sept. 8. “I think that Tennessee is more confident. I think Tennessee has a massive home field advantage.”

Murray spoke on a wide range of subjects in his appearance, including NIL, who the real contenders are in the SEC and Nico Iamaleava’s departure from Tennessee.

Even a Georgia QB legend thinks Tennessee will take down Kirby Smart in Week 3

It's been a one-sided rivalry the last five seasons, but Tennessee football is ready to change that. Yes, even we have to admit that Kirby Smart has had Josh Heupel's number, as the Vols head man is 0-4 against the Dawgs.

Despite that, as we've said before, you can throw everything out of the window for this weekend's clash. Tennessee is a new-look team and the offense has been tremendous two weeks into the campaign. Will Heupel and Co. be able to pull off the upset?

That's what a lot of people think can get done, with former Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray being on the list. Despite his love for his former team, Murray didn't hold back in saying that Tennessee is in the better position to have success this weekend. Oh really?
