Dutch Grand Prix 2025: Practice, qualifying, race times, results and weather forecast

The Dutch Grand Prix is leaving the Formula 1 calendar after the 2026 season

Following the summer break, the Formula 1 season has returned with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort this weekend.

Oscar Piastri leads the drivers' championship by nine points from McLaren team-mate Lando Norris following the Briton's victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix last time out.

But Norris had the better of his team-mate in Friday's practice, topping both sessions.

In the constructors' standings, leaders McLaren are ahead of Ferrari by 299 points, while Mercedes in third are only 24 points behind the Italian team in the race for second.

Commentary of the race will be on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra, BBC Sounds, the BBC Sport website and app and most smart speakers.

Formula 1 returns refreshed and recharged after the summer break as it heads into round 15 of the 2025 season.

With 10 races remaining, every point can make the difference in the drivers' championship.

Zandvoort will see cooler temperatures of around 19°C across the weekend with Friday and Saturday forecast for showers and potentially some thunder. As it stands, Sunday is expected to be cloudy, but given the seaside location, the weather can change quickly.

2025 Dutch GP FP2: Every spill, spin and crash from Friday practice at Zandvoort

It might take some luck for Max Verstappen to win at the Zandvoort track that he says still gives him “goosebumps” – but the reigning World Champion isn’t ruling out the possibility.

Red Bull's Max Verstappen has made his home track of Zandvoort his fortress since the Dutch venue returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, winning three times and finishing second once. But can he continue that run this weekend?

The reigning World Champion has won two Grands Prix this year but those were outstanding drives that very much went against the form book, with McLaren stretching their legs this year and emerging as the class leaders.
