Mega Millions winning numbers are in for the Tuesday, Aug. 26 drawing with an estimated jackpot of $253 million ($113.8 million cash option).
The winning numbers for Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing are: 7, 12, 30, 40 and 69. The Mega Ball is 17.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, Aug. 29. Drawings are held at 11 p.m. every Tuesday and Friday.
In Michigan, in-store and online ticket sales are available until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
Player can pick six numbers from two separate pools of numbers — five different numbers from 1 to 70 (the white balls) and one number from 1 to 24 (the gold Mega Mall). Players can also select the Easy Pick/Quick pick option.

"It has been almost five months since the new Mega Millions launched last April, and Tuesday night’s drawing produced the second-highest player winnings in a single drawing since that time — more than $10.8 million," Mega Millions said on its website.

Mega Millions winning numbers for Aug. 26: $253 million jackpot
The Mega Millions jackpot rose to $253 million for the drawing on Tuesday, Aug. 26, after no one matched all the winning numbers in the drawing on Friday, Aug. 22.
If someone matches all six numbers, they will have the option of a one-time cash payment of $113.8 million.
There have been four Mega Millions winners this year, with the most recent being the June 27 win in Virginia of a jackpot of $348 million. Before then, on April 18, an Ohio player took home a $112 million jackpot, a lucky lottery ticket holder in Illinois took home a $344 million jackpot on March 25 and another lucky person hit the Mega Millions jackpot on Jan. 17 for $113 million.
