Driver in suspected stolen car leads police on high-speed chase across LA
A driver in a suspected stolen blue Infinity led police on a high-speed pursuit through Los Angeles streets and freeways late Friday, reaching speeds of more than 100 mph, authorities said.
Los Angeles police officers began chasing the suspect shortly after 10 p.m. on the 110 Freeway.
The driver failed to yield, prompting a pursuit that spanned multiple freeways, including the 10, 110 and 105, as well as surface streets.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A driver in a vehicle that was reported stolen stopped to get gas while leading law enforcement on a high-speed chase through the Los Angeles area on Friday night.
The chase began before 10 p.m. in the Wilshire area. Police said the dark blue Infinity 250 sedan was reported stolen.
The driver traveled at speeds up to 100 mph at times. The suspect also drove recklessly, weaving through other cars and driving on the shoulder.
Eventually, officers on the ground and the police helicopter overhead pulled off the chase. AIR7 kept following the suspect as he stopped for gas at a Shell gas station at Imperial Highway and Long Beach Boulevard in Lynwood.
