LOS ANGELES – Feeling lucky? As the nation awaits the winner of the $182 million Mega Millions lottery winner, someone in California may be $4.6 million richer.
According to California Lottery's website late Friday night, a ticket worth $4,607,223 was sold at the Spirits World Liquor on Burbank Boulevard in Tarzana.
The news comes as Mega Millions held a drawing for the then-top prize of $166 million.

TARZANA, Calif. (CNS) — A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, in the latest drawing of the multi-state Mega Millions lottery was sold at a liquor store in Tarzana and is worth $4,607,223, the California Lottery announced.
While tickets with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, sold in other states are worth $2 million, $3 million, $4 million, $5 million or $10 million, depending on the multiplier, California law requires major payoffs of lottery games to be paid on a pari-mutuel basis, meaning they are determined by sales and the number of winners.
There were no tickets sold with all six numbers, pushing the estimated jackpot for Tuesday's drawing to $182 million.

The winning Mega Millions numbers from the Friday night drawing were 2, 6, 8, 14, 49 and Mega Ball 12.
The jackpot now climbs to $182 million with a cash option worth $82.1 million for the next drawing, which will take place at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12.
In the new version of the Mega Millions game, which began back in April, lottery officials say the odds of winning the jackpot have improved from one in 302,575,350 to one in 290,472,336.
