WORCESTER, Mass. – The Worcester Bravehearts had 14 players named to the Futures League All-Star team, the way the league divided up the players, the Bravehearts players had a chance to go against one another, so you had teamates throwing out teamates, the game was played at Polar Park and former Red Sox legend Johnny Damom threw out the first pitch, it was quite a show for the players and coaches and they soaked it all up and really enjoyed it. "So far, it's been great being able to be in these top notch facilities," said Bravehearts All-Star Jaylem Sepulveda, "it's a big change for me coming from New York playing on a lot of rough Ffelds but yeah this is great. I mean it's fun, I'm going to have a great day."

Starfires outfielder Anthony Ruggiero added to FCBL All-Star roster
WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS – Westfield Starfires and Northeastern University outfielder Anthony Ruggiero has been added to the Futures Collegiate Baseball League All-Star Game to be played at Worcester’s Polar Park, home of the AAA Worcester Red Sox, on Tuesday, July 22.
Ruggiero gives the Starfires six players in the contest and eight total representatives participating in the festivities across the two days of events in Worcester.
He will join Team Smiles, which will be managed by current Norwich Sea Unicorns manager and former Starfires bench boss Kyle Dembrowski.
Ruggiero has had a strong run for the Starfires. He heads into the All-Star Game hitting .282, with 33 hits in 117 at-bats including four doubles and four home runs, driving in 20 and scoring 17. He has also swiped 10 bases on the campaign.
